Storage & Shelf Life
Keep refrigerated in cheese paper; avoid sealing in plastic. For extended storage, freeze to halt rind growth, then thaw in the fridge or at room temperature before enjoying.
When stored between 32º and 40º F, RIND's aged cheeses remain fresh for up to 60 days. The rind may continue to develop over time, a natural part of the aging process.
Packaging & Disposal
RIND cheeses are wrapped in specialized cheese paper designed to allow proper airflow, ensuring optimal humidity and preventing excess moisture buildup.
The cheese paper is recyclable; however, wax or plastic coatings may not be accepted in all recycling programs. Check with your local recycling facility for guidance. If recycling is not an option, consider reusing the paper for wrapping other cheeses or composting if suitable.
Bleu
This bold and aromatic bleu cheese features an intense mold-ripened rind with occasional white speckling, encasing a buttery, yeasty interior. Naturally occurring bleu veins may develop, adding to its rich depth of flavor.
