Azure Market Canola oil is a versatile and mildly-flavored cooking oil used for sautéing, baking and for marinades, vinaigrettes, margarines and spreads. This oil has a mild taste, so it won’t overpower the flavor of your food or leave any oily aftertaste in your dish.

Unlike olive oil, Canola has a high smoke point of 470 degrees Fahrenheit, making it suitable for high temperature cooking and deep frying.

Canola oil is derived from the seed of the Canola plant, also known as grapeseed. Grapeseed is one of the oldest cultivated plants with records of its use going back to 2000 B.C. in India. Canola oil is low in saturated fatty acids and provides 64 percent monounsaturated fatty acids and 9 percent alpha-linolenic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid, and is trans-fat free.
