Storage & Shelf Life

Store unopened in a cool, dry place. Once opened, transfer remaining TVP to an airtight container or resealable freezer bag and store in a cool, dark pantry for up to 3–4 months.

For maximum freshness, opened dry TVP can also be stored in the refrigerator or freezer, extending its shelf life well beyond four months. Once rehydrated with water or broth, TVP becomes highly perishable and should be refrigerated and used within 3–5 days.
