Standard Razor Size

You can shave anywhere with your Leaf razor, from head to toe, and in between. It's a favorite of body shavers (legs, underarms, chest etc.) and head shavers as it efficiently covers lots of ground. If you're looking for a plastic-free razor that is most similar to what you're using now, The Leaf is the best choice.

01 / Prep Skin
Wash and gently exfoliate to remove dirt and impurities that may cause irritation.
Start with softened hairs and open pores—we recommend immediately after showering.
Lather using a good shave soap (we love a good bar soap), ensuring skin and hair are coated.

02 / Load Your Razor
Open the blade holder by turning the screw counterclockwise (don't worry, it can't fall out!).
Load the blades (lower, middle, then top blade). Ensure they sit flat, matching the notch on the side of the blade with the notch on each blade level (this is important!).
Load all three blades for the closest shave possible. For sensitive skin or areas, remove the bottom blade to dial things back.
Finger-tighten the blade holder by turning the screw clockwise.

03 / Enjoy Your Shave
Don't apply any extra pressure, let the weight of the razor do the work (don't press hard!).
If the razor is too aggressive, remove the bottom blade to dial things back.
Rinse the razor frequently with warm water—the razor and skin should always be damp.
Feel your skin to find places you may have missed and go over them again. For even closer results, repeat the process shaving against the natural direction of hair growth.

Rinse Thoroughly.

Open up your razor and rinse it thoroughly inside and out after each use. Rinse and dry the blades (or allow them to dry) before re-loading.

Store in a cool, dry place.

Clean Gently. If your razor needs cleaning, use a drop of dish soap and a toothbrush.

For tougher build-ups or hard water marks, soak your razor in a solution of 1 part white vinegar, 2 parts water for up to 10 minutes, then scrub with a drop of dish soap and a toothbrush (or other soft brush).

This razor is a tool, with utility and a life that will grow old with you. It’s durable and resilient, finished to resist rust and corrosion with simple care. Backed by a lifetime warranty, The Leaf is with you for as long as you want to keep shaving. If it ever finds an end of life, it’ll be recycled as scrap metal having served well.
